Lesson length depends on students level, ability and interest. We generally start young beginners with 30 minute lessons. Intermediate students enroll in 45 minute lessons and adults and advanced students take 60 minute lessons. Of course there is no hard and fast rule, Ultimately it’s up to the student / parent, and teacher to determine the appropriate lesson length.\r\n\r\nWe encourage students to enroll in regular weekly lessons. We feel this is the surest path to success on a musical instrument. Plus, you’ll receive a discounted tuition rate for weekly students and you can be sure to lock in a preferred time slot.

Tuition is due at the beginning of each month and payable online or in person. We accept cash, check or credit card. Frequently missed or excessively late payments may result in suspension or termination of lessons.\r\n\r\nStudents who begin lessons mid-month pay “pro-rated” tuition (calculated by lessons remaining in the billing cycle). The discounted monthly rate applies to pro-rated tuition.\r\n\r\nPay-per-lesson students are required to pay tuition prior to each lesson.

If you wish to cancel or reschedule your lesson we require written notice by 8pm the evening before your lesson. Lessons canceled after the 8pm cutoff are forfeited and the balance for the missed lesson due in full. Students who cancel by 8pm the evening before a lesson have the option to reschedule the missed lesson or roll a credit forward to next month’s tuition. Please direct scheduling requests to [email protected]

We have instruments for you to try out if you do not yet have your own. If you decide to enroll in lessons, you’ll need to acquire the appropriate instrument as practicing at home is one of the most important factors for success. We can recommend local shops that rent guitars or pianos if you’re not ready to commit to purchasing your own instrument.
