Paul Sottnik

 

Paul grew up on Long Island outside of NYC before studying piano and jazz at SUNY Fredonia. Paul is an accomplished pianist and spent 2 years as an accompanist with the University of Buffalo Department of Theater and Dance and 3 years as an accompanist in Chicago working with many professional studios including Ballet Chicago, Hubbard Street Dance Company, Ruth Page Center for the Arts and many more. He has been teaching piano, jazz and theory for over 7 years. He also started his own music collective in 2015 known as “Mela Collective” and has produced several records and EPs. Paul is a multi instrumentalist and plays guitar, bass, accordion and flute and writes and records original songs about normal things like coffee or mob psychology.
