Elena Ruscitto
Elena Ruscitto, also known as Lene, is a singer, pianist, and songwriter born and raised in Milan, Italy. Elena has been teaching voice and modern piano for 15 years to students of diverse ages and backgrounds. She holds a great passion for imparting her knowledge to aspiring and gifted musicians, dedicating herself fully to her students and assist them in forging careers in music.
From an early age, she was fascinated by the potential of music as a form of expression finding it to be a more straightforward means than other forms. During the early stages of her career, Elena performed at various clubs and venues throughout Milan and the surrounding areas, playing and singing jazz, soul, and blues.
In 2009, she participated in the second edition of XFactor Italy, where she appeared with the vocal trio Sisters of Soul on Italian national television for several weeks, affording her the opportunity to perform across Italy during the summer season and increasing her exposure within the Italian music scene.
Following her appearance on XFactor, Elena collaborated with Italian popular clarinetist Paolo Tomelleri as a jazz singer and pianist for a few years, performing with his Big Jazz Band in theaters and venues around North Italy.
She later earned her Music Degree in Jazz Piano from Civica Scuola di Musica Claudio Abbado in Milan.
In 2021, Elena achieved a certification in Grade 8 Rock and Pop Singing from Trinity College of London‘s final examination. Since December 2022, she has also been certified in Estill Figure Proficiency (EFP) through Estill Voice Training.
