Voice Teacher
jenna quiroz
Jenna Quiroz is a passionate and versatile music educator with over 11 years of experience in voice and piano instruction. She holds a Masters’s degree in Choral Conducting and a Bachelors degree in Music Education with a vocal emphasis from Texas State University, where she had the privilege of serving as the founding director of the University’s Treble Choir and graduate instructor for undergraduate Vocal Techniques courses.
Her teaching journey has taken her into a wide range of musical spaces—from leading an award-winning public school choir program as a head director, to instructing Advanced Placement Music Theory to working with children’s choirs across Texas, directing senior choirs, and performing in professional ensembles. She has taught students of all ages, from 6 to 60 and beyond, and thrives on helping each learner discover their unique voice, love and entrance point into music! Jenna has a wide range of genre instruction including classical, contemporary, pop, musical theatre,jazz, rock, R&B, country, etc.
At the heart of her teaching philosophy is an individualized approach to music-making, grounded in empathy, creativity, and trust. Whether preparing students for performance, helping them develop strong foundational technique, or simply encouraging their love of singing, she is committed to building a safe, encouraging space where students of all ages feel free to take risks, express themselves, and grow. Her lessons are tailored to the student’s needs and goals, with a focus on joyful exploration, thoughtful guidance, and a deep respect for each learner’s musical journey. In addition to writing and releasing original music, Jenna runs an art business out of her home and enjoys spending time outside with her cat!!
