About the instructors
Mark Scott III is a celebrated guitarist and performer based in Austin, known for his inspired and soulful approach to the instrument. As an Eastside Music School instructor and a seasoned professional with a rich background in performance and composition, Mark brings a wealth of practical experience and a passion for nurturing creativity in every student. His debut album as a leader, “Soft Light,” reflects his innovative spirit, successfully melding tradition with introspection while showcasing his creative spontaneity.
Niklas Winter is a distinguished Finnish jazz guitarist and composer with nine records as a leader, renowned for his global tours and collaborations with legendary artists. His unique style blends meditative Nordic influences with dynamic improvisational techniques, offering a fresh perspective that resonates with musicians worldwide. Together, Mark and Niklas create an international guitar exchange that celebrates creativity and the joy of musical discovery.
